Feeling Stressed Out in your Classes? We understand! That's exactly why we created a program to connect overwhelmed students with Poway Unified School District alumni— tutors who have been in your classes before and know exactly what is expected by your teachers. Our goal is to help eliminate the anxieties that surround being a post-COVID learner and help students to reach the educational goals they have to feel confident in their classes once again.

With this information, you will automatically be paired with the best-fitting tutor. Some helpful information to provide is age, grade, subject(s), school, and number of sessions preferred per week. The pandemic is over! Why is tutoring still virtual?
Despite the quarantine mandates being lifted in San Diego, the Alumni Tutors continue to meet with their students individually. The very nature of our company, that is, our tutors being high school alumni and, thus, college students, means that our tutors are living on college campuses right now -- all across America! As much as we would love to fly each tutor home to meet with their students in person, hosting virtual sessions is our best option.
Why are the tutors limited to younger college students?
The Alumni Tutors consist of college students who graduated from the Poway Unified School District in the classes of 2021, and 2022. We recognize the disorientation that online classes caused students of all ages and we want to honor that in how we approach each session. Therefore, the tutors are limited to students who have participated in online PUSD classes. It is important to us that we maintain our slogan, "Tutors who know your schools. Tutors who know your teachers. Tutors who know your experiences" as best we can and in order to truly understand the experiences that our students are going through, we need to have gone through them ourselves.
